bitlocker vista

BitLocker and Vista

Just wondering if anyone has used Bitlocker in 5365? Also, is it still possible to update to future releases of the beta by formating drive via the installation or will bitlocker give a user any type of problems?

Your chiptset will need to support the TPM 1.2 platform to support BitLocker drive encryption. I am not positive on this, but you should be able to format the drive normally, just that you won't have access to the data unless you enter the 48-bit encrypted key. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
